Wiffle Ball League Flyer
Program Description:
Bristol Parks, Recreation, Youth, and Community Services will be starting an Adult Wiffle Ball League this spring. The season will run from the week of April 14th through the week of June 23 (10 weeks of regular season, plus a week of playoffs). Each team is guaranteed 20 games and all teams make the double-elimination playoffs. Each team will play one doubleheader every week of the season -- 6:30pm start time. Games will be played on Monday-Thursday evenings at Mix Street and/or Casey Field in Bristol. The league will do its best to accommodate scheduling requests.

Teams must have at least 4 players. Teams can bat more than 4 players, but only 4 players are allowed to play the field on defense at a time. This is a recreational league and players of all skill levels are welcome to join.

Program Notes:
 - The fee is $250 per team.
 - The winning team will receive t-shirts and a trophy.
 - The league will loosely follow AWA (American Wiffle Association) rules -- https://awawiffle.com/awa-rules/ 

Registration:
 - The deadline to register a team is Friday, March 28. Schedules will be sent to team managers as soon as they are available, but no later than Friday, April 4.
 - When registering, only the team manager/captain will register. You will not need to enter the other members of the team during registration. You will also have the opportunity to enter your team name during the registration process. 
 - Individual Sign-Ups: If you are an individual player interested in playing in this league but do not have enough players to fill a complete team, please email League Coordinator, Shawn Mirmina, at shawnmirmina@bristolk12.org with your interest. Upon reaching out, the league coordinator will contact each individual on the list for possible team placements.

Program Benefits:
By the end of the league, teams will be able to:
 - Participate in 20 regular season games (10 doubleheaders).
 - Compete against at least 5 other teams with varying skill levels.
 - Improve their batting and fielding accuracy, with players demonstrating increased proficiency in hitting and catching during game situations.
