PLAP Climb and Craft
Program Description
Join us for an afternoon of climbing and crafting at Pine Lake Adventure Park (PLAP). This adult program offers participants a unique blend of creativity and adventure, perfect for those seeking both artistic expression and an adrenaline rush. In this one-of-a-kind experience, participants will have the opportunity to craft their own nature-inspired terrarium and then test their courage and skills on one of PLAP's high elements. 

This climb and craft program is designed for individuals or groups of all skill levels, offering a balance of creativity and physical activity in a safe, supportive environment. Whether you are looking to relax with a hands-on craft experience or seeking a thrilling outdoor challenge, this program has something for everyone. 

Please note that registrations are on an individual basis! If you are looking to participate with other family members or friends, please be sure each individual is registered!

Succulent Terrarium Craft
PLAP is thrilled to partner with Lauren Morin, aka The Mermaid Crafter, to offer the crafting portion of this program. Lauren will guide participants through the creation of their very own terrarium. Lauren is a mom to a 5-year-old and an elementary school teacher with 13 years of experience. She also runs a business offering craft parties for both adults and children, blending her passion for creativity with her teach background to create fun, memorable experiences. 

Schedule
Our group will be split into two teams for the day’s activities. One half will start by climbing, while the other half will enjoy the terrarium-building craft. Afterward, we’ll switch halfway through so everyone gets a chance to try both! 

Additional Information
  • Each individual participating in this program will need to complete a Pine Lake Adventure Park Waiver. The Terrarium Climb and Craft specific waiver can be found HERE.
  • Please arrive 10-15 minute before the start time to ensure enough time to review safety protocols for the climbing portion of the program. 
  • Pine Lake Adventure Park is located at 100 Birch Street in Bristol. Please utilize the parking lot off Birch Street for this program. 
  • Restroom access is available during this program. 
  • Registration fee includes all materials required for the terrarium craft. 

Inclement Weather
Please note that this program takes place outside rain or shine, regardless of temperature. Please come dressed accordingly.

Waiver and Disclaimer
PLAP programs involve a variety of activities that often include warm-ups, games, group initiatives problems, low and high ropes elements, and other potentially rigorous physical activities. The level of participation in every program activity is "challenge by choice", meaning the choice whether to participate or not, and the level of that participation, is up to the individual participant. As with any physical activity, there is an element of risk, which must be assumed by each participant. Though the course is inspected regularly and is facilitated by experienced trainers, there is the possibility that a participant may suffer an emotional injury, and/or physical injury, resulting in permanent disability or death. Each participant and their parent/guardian voluntarily assumes the risk of such injury. 

Participation waivers will be sent to each camper's parent/guardian prior to the start of the camp program. Each camper must have a completed waiver to attend camp.
