STEAM Works (from EYES)
Program Description:
Children work with motorized building kits and brick materials to problem-solve pre-engineering challenges involving structure, levers, gears, pulleys, and other elements of motorized simple machines. Projects may include cranes, robot dogs, and sweeper cars.

About the Instructor(s): 
This program is ran by an instructor from Exceptional Youth Education Services (EYES). EYES provides opportunities for children ages 7-10 to explore problem solving activities using a hands-on approach to their learning and higher order thinking.

Note:
Children will NOT be able to keep any LEGO® materials at the conclusion of the class/session. All LEGO® materials used are property of EYES and cannot be sold or distributed.

Program Benefits:
By the end of this program, participants will gain:
 - Hands-on building skills.
 - Problem solving strategies.
 - An understanding of the building blocks of simple engineering.
