Program Descriptions:
Join Food Explorers in creating delicious food and gain confidence in the kitchen! The ultimate after school adventure for young chefs and food enthusiasts, these programs offer a fun, hands-on learning experience designed to empower and inspire creativity in the kitchen and build a love for cooking while listening to their bodies. Programs run once a week for 4 weeks. All recipes are nut free but do contain eggs, dairy and gluten. Ingredient substitutions are not possible.

Program Benefits:
Upon completion of each camp, participants will be able to:
 - explore and cook a variety of recipes related to the program's theme.
 - practice essential cooking and baking skills such as chopping, mixing, and plating.
 - work together to follow a multi-leveled recipe in a social, relaxed environment.

About the Instructors: 
The Food Explorers team aims to inspire and empower children to learn valuable cooking skills and nurture a positive relationship with food. All Food Explorers recipes are uniquely designed to challenge kids in the kitchen and introduce them to new foods, flavors and cultures. Food Explorers instructors are trained around the concept of “Food Neutrality” in order to help children discover the joys of food and cooking without judgement or pressure.

Holiday Desserts
Join Food Explorers for delicious holiday desserts! Each week you’ll make a dessert inspired by favorite holiday flavors and foods. You’ll be making: Hot Chocolate Mini Donuts, Chocolate Cherry Cheesecake Pies, Butterscotch Trifles, and Candy Cane Brownie Bites. All recipes are nut-free and vegetarian but will contain dairy, eggs, and gluten.

Get ready for a chocolate-filled adventure! Each session is hands-on and filled with delicious fun! Kids will learn how to make tasty chocolate treats like Chocolate Banana Cream Pie, Sweet Chocolate Stuffed Pupusas, Chocolate Zucchini Pancakes, and Chocolate Raspberry Cupcakes. All recipes are nut-free and vegetarian but will contain dairy, eggs, and gluten.

Get ready for a delicious journey with Food Explorers! In this hands-on dessert class for kids, young chefs will explore flavors and treats from across the globe - no passport required! Along the way, kids will learn basic baking techniques and explore new ingredients. You’ll be making: Black Forest Cupcakes, Banoffee Pies, Scotch Pancakes, and Mini Matcha Donuts. All recipes are nut-free and vegetarian but will contain dairy, eggs, and gluten.
