Program Description:
Kickstart a passion for soccer with SoccerTots, an active, game-based introduction for young athletes. This program enhances motor skills and self-confidence with engaging activities that focus on developing core soccer skills and introducing friendly competition.
Playable on almost any surface, these soccer-themed motor skill classes are very easy for participants to get into. Younger age groups focus on developing motor skills and self confidence, while the older classes focus on developing core soccer skills and personal development. Parent participation is required with children 3.5 years and younger.
About the Instructors:
Skyhawks Sports Academy started as a regional soccer program focused in the Pacific Northwest. The popularity of the camps grew as the years went by, and some amazing athletes and wonderful individuals emerged. These soccer-focused Skyhawks camps emphasized critical lessons in life, such as sportsmanship, teamwork, and winning and losing with grace.
Skyhawks Sports Academy recruits highly motivated individuals who have demonstrated an exceptional ability to communicate well with children. All coaches have participated in their respective sports at either the high school or college level. All coaches must complete an application, personal interview, background investigation, classroom training, field training and pass a coaches' test prior to their first day of work.
