Fishing Derby
The 74th Annual Fishing Derby will be held Saturday, April 26, 2024 from 7:30 am - 10:00 am at Rockwell Park Pond.

Join us for an exciting morning of fishing family fun. Children should bring their own fishing poles and legal bait. There will be a variety of prizes awarded for fishes caught throughout the morning. 

Derby is for children 13 years of age and under!

General Information
  • Come out and enjoy the 74th Annual Perry J. Spinelli Fishing Derby
  • Saturday, April 26, 2025 from 7:30 - 10:00 am
  • Held at the Rockwell Park Pond (NEW THIS YEAR)
  • The event is free of charge, but pre-registration is required.
  • Participants should check in at the BPRYCS Registration Tent the day of the event beginning at 7:00 a.m.
  • Each participant may use 1 pole, 1 hook, 1 bobber, and any legal bait
  • No artificial lures or gang hooks allowed
  • Parents may assist in casting but children must land their own fish
  • Prizes will be awarded in a variety of categories
  • Winners will be announced at 10:00 a.m.
