Bristol resident Jeffrey Arduini selected as Community Services Coordinator 

Bristol, CT – [May 28, 2026] – The City of Bristol Department of Parks, Recreation, Youth and Community Services (BPRYCS) is pleased to announce the selection of Bristol resident Jeffrey Arduini as the new Community Services Coordinator. Jeff is a results-driven professional bringing over 9 years of experience working for the State of Connecticut’s Judicial Branch. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminology from Central Connecticut State University.

As Community Services Coordinator, Jeff is responsible for providing short-term case management; supporting qualifying residents with basic needs including financial, social, nutritional, environmental, medical and protective services. He also coordinates major community services programs including relocation program, holiday gift giving program, and the caring closet to name a few. Jeff will work closely with other social service agencies and participate in teams including Bristol Cares, Code Enforcement and the Mayors Opioid Task Force.

Superintendent of Parks, Recreation, Youth and Community Services Dr. Joshua Medeiros stated, “Jeff is an incredible addition to our team, bringing a breadth of experience and perspective to city social services. What stands out the most about Jeff is his interpersonal skills and his ability to connect with people of all walks of life. He brings a kind, caring and connective approach to meeting people where they are and working hard to empower them with the skills to be successful now and in the future.”

Youth and Community Services Supervisor, Stephen Bynum reflected, “We are excited to have Jeff join our growing department and team. He brings unique talents, experience and creativity to his position here as Community Services Coordinator. Welcome aboard and we can’t wait to see your impact on our community here in Bristol.”

In anticipation of his role Jeff stated, “I’m passionate about helping strengthen the Bristol community by connecting residents with meaningful services and support. I look forward to making a positive impact and helping people feel seen, supported, and empowered”.

Jeff Arduini was promoted from a temporary worker and began his full-time permanent service to the City of Bristol on Wednesday May 20, 2026.
