Page Park: DeWitt Page Park Road Closure Will Impact Park Access this Week

Bristol, CT – [May 26, 2026] – The City of Bristol’s Department of Parks, Recreation, Youth and Community Services (BPRYCS) announced that a portion of Dewitt Page Park Road and select amenities will be closed beginning May 26, 2026. Vehicular and pedestrian access will be limited. BPRYCS encourages community members to seek other routes to access Page Park and the surrounding neighborhoods. The road closure will be broken into two phases.

The first phase of road closures will begin on Tuesday, May 26th. Dewitt Page Park Road will be closed from just beyond the lower parking lot entrances to just before the upper parking lot (overlooking the tennis courts). Parking lot access will not be impacted but community members will not be able to access the Upper parking lot from the King Street Entrance. Community members looking to access the upper parking lot can use the park entrances located on Moody Street and/or Woodland Street.

The second phase of road closures will take place from Wednesday, May 27th to Thursday, May 28th. Dewitt Page Park Road will be closed from the King Street entrance to just beyond the lower parking lot entrances. The playground and splash pad will be closed and the lower-level parking lot will not be accessible to community members during this time. Community members looking to utilize other areas of the park can access the park entrances located on Moody Street and/or Woodland Street.
