Bristol, CT – [June 24, 2025] – Bristol Parks Recreation, Youth and Community Services (BPRYCS) will open the Outdoor Pools in Bristol, Connecticut for the 2025 Summer Season this Saturday, June 28th. The outdoor pools accept cash or check and the indoor pool accepts cash, checks and credit cards.

BPRYCS Aquatics Supervisor, Raelynne Andrews expressed her excitement, “The outdoor pools serve as an essential amenity for many community members and opening day is always long awaited. We’re really looking forward to opening for the 2025 season, especially after the recent heat wave.” Andrews went on to explain “We’re opening the pools one week later than we have in recent years due to the school year ending later. We depend on high school and college students to staff the pools, so if they get out of school later, then training happens later, and the pools open later. Residents won’t lose out on any swim time though, we’re keeping the outdoor pools open a week later, closing on August 24th, for a full outdoor pool season.”

Rockwell Park Pool features a 1.5” deep shallow area and four lanes of open swimming space. Page Park Pool was recently renovated and re-opened in 2021 and features a zero-depth entry ramp, water spray features, and six lanes of open swimming space. Aquatics Supervisor Andrews noted, “Page Park is currently under construction and roadways to the pool may be impacted. The parking lot for Page Park Pool is always accessible via Moody Street.”
