Bristol resident Arianna Therriault selected as Arts and Culture Supervisor

April 21, 2023 - The City of Bristol Department of Parks, Recreation, Youth and Community Services is pleased to announce the selection of Bristol resident Arianna Therriault to assume the role of Arts and Culture Supervisor. The Arts and Culture Supervisor is a part-time role charged with developing year-round arts and culture programs, programming Downtown Live productions at the Rockwell Theater, and supporting the work of the City Arts and Culture Commission.

Arianna comes to the department with over a decade of experience in multimedia production, project 
coordination and operations. Most recently Arianna served as a Studio Operator with ESPN where she was responsible for operating and coordinating live production shows, collaborating with external ad agencies to create commercial content, and leading project team’s aimed to engage users and clients. Additionally, Arianna is the Co-Owner of Get A Grip Productions which is a film production company where she writes, directs, and produces short narrative and feature length documentary films.

In this 
work she collaborates with local artists for Claymation, miniature set building, special effects makeup, sound/audio, editing and filming. Superintendent Dr. Josh Medeiros stated, “Arianna has a really fantastic blend of education, experience, skills, and passion for the arts that make her uniquely positioned to lead the city’s Arts and Culture Division. She comes with great ideas for the theater, programs, and an overall vision of what arts andculture in Bristol can look like. Our entire team is looking forward to working with her!” 

In anticipation of her new role, Arianna said, “I am honored to join the City of Bristol and I look forward to building a strong connection with the arts and culture community.”


Arianna holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from Central Connecticut State University. She 
begins her service to the department on Wednesday May 3, 2023 with a starting rate of $31.98/hour.
