Bristol Resident Jaden Laprise Joins Parks Crew

The City of Bristol Department of Parks, Recreation, Youth and Community Services (BPRYCS) is pleased to announce the selection of Bristol resident Jaden Laprise to assume the role of Park Maintainer in the Parks, Grounds and Facilities Maintenance Division.

Graduating from Bristol Eastern High School, Jaden has worked for the BPRYCS Department as a summer laborer for the past 3 years. In addition to his experience in the department, Jaden worked as a machine operator for Hexcel Pack as well as private landscaping jobs. As a result of his hands on experience in the parks, strong work ethic, and exceptional performance reviews, Jaden was promoted to the full time Park Maintainer role. As Park Maintainer, Jaden will be charged with a variety of maintenance responsibilities across the City’s diverse 730 acre park system.

Superintendent Medeiros stated, “We employ hundreds of part time and seasonal workers throughout the year; Jaden was someone that really stood out to us with his performance, positive attitude and willingness to take on any task. He has been praised by his supervisors and colleagues alike and so his promotion from a seasonal worker to the full time role is a natural transition for him. We are confident Jaden will be a great addition to our parks crew.”

Jaden Laprise
assumes the role of Park Maintainer on Tuesday September 6, 2022 with a starting rate of $23.40/hr.
