Superintendent Dr. Josh Medeiros noted, “The Landscape Gardener position in our parks division is a big job. We have over 730 acres of city parks and dozens of complex garden beds across the system that require care and only 1 dedicated gardener to do it. One of the things that impressed me most about Steven was his ability to think critically about his work, prioritize tasks, and articulate ways to innovate and improve efficiencies in this space.”In anticipation of his new role, Steven said, "I'm excited to share my passion for horticulture with the community and be a part of maintaining and improving the beautiful outdoor spaces throughout Bristol."Steven Schriver officially assumes the role of Landscape Gardener on Monday September 13, 2021 with an annual starting salary of $52,000.
