Veterans Memorial Boulevard - 25 Acres
Veterans Memorial Boulevard was given to the City in 1921 by Albert Rockwell. 
Located on Memorial Boulevard next to the old Bristol Arts and Innovation Magnet School, parking for Veterans Memorial Boulevard Park is available off of South Street and Wozenski Way.
Amenities:
- Passive Recreation parallel to the Pequabuck River 
- Two Fishing Ponds
- Multi-Use Athletic Field with Gravel Walking Track
- Urban Garden

This gorgeous gateway to Bristol’s City Center proudly stands as a reminder to the heroes who have served and protected Bristol’s community. Veterans Memorial Boulevard Park features park benches, a fishing lagoon and fountain, powerful memorial monuments, a garden area, a bike lane, and a walking path with mile markers, perfect for walking or jogging through the tree-lined Boulevard.

At the Riverside Avenue entrance to the Boulevard is the newly-renovated Memorial Boulevard bridge depicting clock parts to pay homage to the clock making industry in Bristol. In addition, the four branches of the military are depicted in the bridge’s facade.

Pin Oak Trees - Walk Memorial Boulevards' Living Tribute - 
The Boulevard is lined with oak trees on each side in tribute of the 54 Bristol residents who lost their lives in service to their country during World War I. 

Veterans Memorial Boulevard Park also includes a National Guard Memorial, gardens with service dedication plaques, stones, a time capsule, and a Tribute Walkway* with thousands of bricks listing veterans names.
*The Tribute Walkway is managed by the Bristol Veterans Council.
