Program Description:Join Bristol Parks, Recreation, Youth and Community Services for a fun-filled Friday night designed exclusively for middle school students in grades 6–8! Held one Friday each month, Middle School Social offers a safe and welcoming space for friends to connect, unwind, and have fun.Participants will enjoy pizza, Nintendo Switch gaming, arts and crafts, group games, and a variety of engaging activities throughout the evening. Whether you're looking to challenge friends in a game, get creative, or simply spend time with classmates, there's something for everyone.Parents and guardians can drop off participants from 6:00 PM–9:00 PM for an exciting night of food, fun, and socializing. Pizza is included for all registered participants.About the Staff:All staff are CPR/First Aid certified and have many years of experience working with children. Staff are teachers, paraprofessionals, behavior interventionists, education majors, and individuals that love working with children! Program Benefits:By the end of the program, participants will: - Build and maintain friendships, practice teamwork, and strengthen communication skills through shared games and group activities.- Engage in fun movement such as active games or outdoor play.- Participate in themed activities and hands-on experiences.Wellness Benefits:   Learn More about the Dimensions of Wellness

Program Description:Calling all kids! Bristol Parks, Recreation, Youth and Community Services is hosting a Kids' Night Out one Friday a month. Parents and guardians can drop their children off from 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM for dinner, games, arts and crafts, and more! Pizza will be provided for all participants. 2025-2026 Monthly ThemesSept. 9/19 – Science Explorers Fizz, bubbles, and hands-on experiments for all curious minds.Oct. 10/17 – Pumpkin DecoratingPaint, carve, and personalize your own pumpkin. Fall vibes included!Nov. 11/21 – Cozy Night In/PJ Party Wear your comfiest pajamas for a chill night with cozy crafts and cookie decorating.Dec. 12/19 – Holiday WorkshopCreate cards, ornaments, and decorations for the season. Jan. 1/23 – Glow Night Light up the night with glow-in-the-dark games, crafts, and activities that shine bright! Feb. 2/20 – Mystery Night Solve clues, crack codes, and work together to uncover the mystery before time runs out. Mar. 3/20 – Decades & Tie-Dye Night Travel through time with music, games, and colorful tie-dye fun inspired by your favorite decades. Apr. 4/24 – Game Night From classic board games to team challenges, it’s a night full of friendly competition and laughs.
