Program DescriptionBristol Parks, Recreation, Youth & Community Services has teamed up with Camp Pickleball to offer a 6-week instructional program at the BRAND NEW Page Park Pickleball Courts. These classes are designed to teach core skills, game strategy, and court awareness in a fun, active, and structured environment. With classes for both beginners and intermediate players, participants will receive hands-on coaching from knowledgeable instructors who are passionate about the game. Each session includes immediate feedback, structured drills, and live play - all leading up to a mini tournament where participants can put their progress into action. Whether you're picking up a paddle for the first time or looking to sharpen your skills, Camp Pickleball offers the perfect place to learn, grow, and play with purpose.About the Instructors:Camp Pickleball is Connecticut’s newest premier indoor Pickleball facility with 24/7 access located in Plainville, CT. All coaches at Camp Pickleball are certified through either the Professional Pickleball Registry (PPR) or the International Pickleball Teaching Professional Association (IPTPA), ensuring top-tier instruction for every player. Head Coach, Kyle Schermerhorn, brings over 20 years of tennis coaching experience and several years of pickleball instruction, with leadership roles at top academies and clubs. Kyle’s personalized approach and deep expertise make him a valuable asset for players of all ages and skill levels.
