Program Description:Participants will be introduced to the game of football while utilizing flags. Players will work on basic football skills such as passing, catching, offense and defense in a safe and fun environment. Each week, new teams will be formed to give players a chance to socialize with everyone in the program. About the Instructor(s): This program is instructed by Michael Pirog and Andrew Beaucar. Michael played football at Central Connecticut State University, and has countless coaching experience at various levels. Michael is a PE Teacher at St. Joseph School, and has a long tenure being a part of the BPRYCS department. Andrew Beaucar has been a part of the BPRYCS team for 4+ years. Andrew serves as a Physical Educator for the Bristol Public Schools and coaches multiple sports across middle school and youth levels. Andrew is excited to help coach another season of flag football!Program Benefits: - Players will learn to line up correctly on both offense and defense. - Players will understand the basic rules of football (first downs, scoring, offsides, pass interference, etc.).- Players will learn to run several different pass patterns and use them in game situations.

Three full size nets will be available and participants will work amongst themselves to divide into teams and rotations for open play. This is a great opportunity to meet new people and work on your volleyball skills. Drop In: Non-registered players are welcome to drop in each week to participate in the program, although it is encouraged to register for the program. The drop in fee will be $10 every night attended.

Techniques and game play will be taught in a fun and safe environment to enhance the overall knowledge of the game of basketball. About the Instructor(s): This program is instructed by Michael Pirog and Andrew Beaucar. Michael played football at Central Connecticut State University, and has countless coaching experience at various levels. Michael is a PE Teacher at St. Joseph School, and has a long tenure being a part of the BPRYCS department. Tom Pirog has extensive experience playing and coaching sports as well as experience working with children through the department summer camps. Program Description:Participants in this program will work on the fundamental skills of the game of basketball, as well as participate in organized games of 3-on-3 each week. Teams will be changed every week to ensure that games are fair and players have an opportunity to play with new teammates. About the Instructor(s): This program is instructed by Michael Pirog. Michael played football at Central Connecticut State University, and has countless coaching experience at various levels. Michael is a PE Teacher at St. Joseph School, and has a long tenure being a part of the BPRYCS department. Tom Pirog has extensive experience playing and coaching sports as well as experience working with children through the department summer camps. Tom has played multiple sports at the varsity level and helps coach clinics at the Bristol Sports Armory and teams with Bristol Little League. Program Description: This program will introduce participants to the sport of basketball. Participants will learn skills and techniques in a friendly, safe and fun environment. Lessons will be conducted utilizing skill-building activities and games. About the Instructor(s): This program is instructed by Michael Pirog. Michael played football at Central Connecticut State University, and has countless coaching experience at various levels. Michael is a PE Teacher at St. Joseph School, and has a long tenure being a part of the BPRYCS department. Tom Pirog has extensive experience playing and coaching sports as well as experience working with children through the department summer camps. Tom has played multiple sports at the varsity level and helps coach clinics at the Bristol Sports Armory and teams with Bristol Little League. Tom is excited to help prepare athletes for a higher level with Basketball this season!Andrew Beaucar has been a part of the BPRYCS team for 4+ years. Andrew serves as a Physical Educator for the Bristol Public Schools and coaches multiple sports across middle school and youth levels. Andrew is excited to help coach another basketball season!Program Benefits:- Participants will be able to dribble 10 times consecutively with their dominant hand- Participants will be able to make both a chest and bounce pass- Participants will be able to get set up and show correct shooting form

Program Description:This program will teach the vital basketball skills of dribbling, passing, and shooting. Techniques and game play will be taught in a fun and safe environment to enhance the overall knowledge of the game of basketball. Program Description:Adults of all ages and abilities are welcome to join us Monday nights for open gym volleyball. Three full size nets will be available and participants will work amongst themselves to divide into teams and rotations for open play. This is a great opportunity to meet new people and work on your volleyball skills. Drop In: Non-registered players are welcome to drop in each week to participate in the program, although it is encouraged to register for the program. The drop in fee will be $10 every night attended.
