The City of Bristol’s Department of Parks, Recreation, Youth and Community Services (BPRYCS) is launching its first ever “Name That Snow Plow” Contest, asking residents to submit creative names for snow plows across Bristol, Connecticut’s parks and roads.
Voting & Entry Info:
- Residents can submit names through December 14th.
- The Parks, Grounds and Facilities Crew will select finalists from the submissions and final voting by the public will take place December 16th to the 28th.
Winning names will be announced in January and will be displayed directly on BPRYCS Snow Plows.

Rules
- Names submitted should be appropriate. Submissions that include profanity or inappropriate language will be excluded.
- Submissions that include business names will be excluded.
- If the same name is submitted by multiple applicants, the entry that came in first will be the one considered and duplicate entries will be excluded.
- Names may be submitted by a group (schools, teams, nursing homes, etc.), but must include a contact name.
- Names must be submitted through the official contest webpage to be eligible.
- No purchase is necessary to participate in this contest.
- BPRYCS reserves the right to reject any submission for any reason.
- Suggestions are limited to 25 characters or less.
