Welcome to Bristol Splash, a Yankee League and  USA Swimming Competitive Swim Team!

The Splash Swim Team is available for youth ages: 6 to 18 who meet the following requirements:

1.) Swim 1 length (25 yards) of the pool demonstrating freestyle with rhythmic breathing
2.) Swim 1 length of pool demonstrating backstroke continuously.
3.) Able to attend a minimum of 5 meets throughout the season.  Practice will be held weekdays beginning in mid-September and will run through March.
 
Program Notes:

Tryouts for ALL swimmers will be held on Friday, September 20th from 5:00 PM – 6:15 PM. Tryouts are for new participants.

Please note that program registration does not include purchase of an annual child pool membership which is required for participation. Splash is part of the Yankee Swim League. 

Fee does include championship dues. Participants will also have to pay for half of the cost of their competition swim suits, should they choose to purchase one. Practice group schedules will be available after the first week of practice.

If your child is on the High School Girls swim team and she is joining the splash team after her season is over, the cost is $125. If your child is on the High School Boys swim team and he will be joining the splash team after his season is over, the cost is $100.

Dryland practice is from 4:30 PM - 5:00 PM until the HS girls season has concluded. Practice shifts to 4:30 PM - 6:00 PM from late November through March.

Splash Team Mission Statement: The mission of the Bristol Splash Team is to combine fun and competition. This will be achieved by fostering friendship through team work, participants’ personal growth, building stroke mechanics and developing new skills. Splash Team’s main goal is to introduce participants to the sport of swimming, to teach skills based on ability in a fun, relaxed atmosphere where participants can improve their skills at their own pace while enhancing their social and emotional development.
