The Pequabuck River Duck Race is back this year - with a new host. The City Arts & Culture Commission and the Parks, Recreation, Youth & Community Services Department is thrilled to be taking over this annual community event. Join us as we launch 5,000 ducks into the Pequabuck River with a chance to win over 25 prizes (the first place prize is $1,500 cash)! Before & during the race, we'll celebrate in block party fashion, complete with children's games, crafts, music, vendors & food. The festivities will start at 11:00 AM, and the ducks will be released at 1:00 PM. Ducks/tickets are on sale at the BPRYCS main office at 51 High Street until Friday, September 30th.
